Michael Keaton was an American actor, producer, and director, best known as the star of Birdman. Keaton is skilled in comedy as well as dramatic. He also has played a few romantic characters and appeared in several action thrillers throughout his career. When he was still in his teens the actor began developing an interest in acting and performance. In the later years, when he was an aspiring youngster, he tried stand-up comedy. His comedy career wasn't a success, however it helped pave the way to the path to a career in acting. Unable to find success in the field of comedy, he picked the job of a television cameraman in a cable station. This job was where he discovered that he truly wanted to appear on camera. Then he landed a TV role, appearing in many episodes in Mister Rogers Neighborhood. He was a natural actor, and quickly became a household name on television. His comedic performances earned him fame, and he began a career as a filmmaker with big dreams. The actor gained further recognition when he portrayed the eponymous Batman as Tim Burton's Batman. As a mature actor, He also started to move into directing and producing. The year 2014 saw his appearance as Birdman was rewarded with numerous awards and nods.
