Aisling Bea

Aisling bea, born in Kildare Ireland on 16 March 1984, is one of the wealthiest and most well-known comic. She appeared on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, more popularly known as her stage title Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984) is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comic. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011after having appeared in small parts on several Irish television shows and British series from 2009. From 2012 on Bea began appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. In the wake of her success during the Edinburgh Comedy Awards, she was invited to appear on a number of panel shows. In 2016 and 2017 she was a team leader on 8 Out of 10 Cats. She is also participant on 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the daughter of Brian and Helen O'Sullivan and has a sister who is named Sinead. She was the winner of the So You Believe You're Funny Award twice. Bea is her surname in honour of her deceased father. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. The father of her Brian was a veterinarian for horses who died when Bea was just three years old. She did not know the cause of his death until she reached the age of 13. To honor her dad, she adopted the stage-name Bea and, in the year 2017, wrote an article about suicides in her family members for The Guardian. Bea and her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a former professional jockey. Her family were racing and horse-related. In her youth Bea employed as an assistant tour guide for the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she wasn't attracted to the race industry as a career and instead was a performer.
